Sophie, well, she has no excuse! Other than waking up and coming in to "cuddle". Jason found this image funny. (says the guy who got a good night's sleep on the couch!) Hahahaha! No worries Mamas out there! I do not normally sleep with Jack on my chest or on his belly! He was pukey and I was holding him at an angle. Jason's job was to get him if I fell asleep because he was already up for work this day. Ummm, he felt the need to take a picture first. Again, so glad....
This handsome man is our version of a Saint on earth. Of course, he would also have horns...and possibly a stand up comedy routine. This is Dr. Hochberg, our High Risk/OBGyn. He was the man who was brought in to perform my surgery in 2009 to try and rescue our pregnancy. After all we went through, he insisted that, if I ever got pregnant again, that I was HIS patient from the beginning and he'd get me through it. And he did.
The product of his (and my) hard work. For those of you have sat down with me for any length of time, I usually had a "Charlie" story to tell. He is a riot! Irreverant, uncensored, and like a grandpa that cusses and never fails to allow his opinion to be known. I love him and will forever be grateful for his presence in our lives. I hope to tell more later. I don't want to ever forget him and his "tough love" approach to our pregnancy. (hard shelled with a fluffy white cloud interior) He shed tears at the birth of Jack. Still calls me "Lucas" and hugs me at every exam...even if I'm naked in a white sheet! hahaha
I love the expressions on this photo! Very funny!
Another 5 am moment. Wide awake, these two!
Ridiculous! I love it!
Big Boy, Little Girl... I love the perspective of this picture. All Sophie needs is a set of fairy wings and it would be perfect!
So long for now, from the pretty, big-eyed, newest addition. More to come later!
