Hi! Did you know I was turning TWO?????

Here are my new shoes, via my friends, Jennifer and Corinne!
Here is a "hint" to what Two Years OLD looks like to my mama!!!

Below, I asked Sophie if she would smile, she gave me the "fake girl" smile.  She's already mastered the art of being a teenager, I swear!
And now a lovely pic from inside the new home!  Our kitchen! Missing all the appliances.  We have to buy some things and need to wait until we can afford it!  When we move in, we know we will at least have a microwave and a fridge! hahaha
Our livingroom, with sleepy baby and paint swatches above the fire place. We are stoning the fireplace when budget allows!
...and the view of our girl looking out our back doors. These will lead to a deck when finances allow.  Are you sensing a theme???? : )  Sophie loves the space and loves running from room to room.  Mama and daddy love the fact that we don't have to worry about her hurting herself on all the unsafe things our present house has.  What a blessing this house will be!

Wahooo! The pics FINALLY downloaded!

I've been trying to post these pics for a few days, but my blog account was being stubborn with me. Not sure why, but here they are! The future generation of trouble is already brewing! The Connoley/Burbank/Lucas crew sans one of the Burbank's. and without the shades!
We laughed and said it looked like E. was checking out Sophie!
...and one group of dear friends that just don't see eachother as much as we need to anymore. Love and Laughs at Oliverio's. Oh yeah..and a drink or two! ; )

Hello, It's been a few days......

Our girl loves a parade! This is her second appearance at the Annual Memorial Day Parade in Grafton, WV. Bands and Trucks are her favorite! Here's the next stage of "completeness" in our housing process. It is driving me crazy!!! Some of the windows are installed, more siding, and some fill dirt has been added. Still missing the shutters, stone work, porch on front.
Our view from the Road. It is nestled back in the corner of the lot. The space to the right of the house will be a garage....a very obnoxiously big garage. My husband super-sized the order on that.

Daddy and Daughter checkin' out the new "housh!!" This picture shows how we have lost our little baby child and gained a little girl.... It happened so fast! The glass block window you see is where mama's big bath tub is on the other side. I am SOOOO looking forward to getting inside that!! Still can't get inside the house though. You can see the graveyard in the background. See folks, I told you it was lovely...well, it's lovely as far as grave yards go.

This moment was priceless. We went to get ice cream and to look at the house. (in background you see the basement door with the front of the house on the right side of the picture.) As all good ice cream goes for kiddos, Sophie's fell on the ground, along with her. So, she has 2 skinned knees and no ice cream cone. Daddy consoles her and I couldn't help capturing the moment.

No kiddin'???? Do ya THINK????

Our front door below, study above.

Look at the little ant, uh I mean, worker dude on the roof!

A change of scenery...Part 4...THE INSTALL

step one...Our basement early morning, day of delivery. The crane. I love the guy in the pic for perspective....whoa.
Our first section,.. Or as I like to call them, "pod"...(Kathy, our house lady would laugh at me right now) if you look closely, you can see our kitchen and island through the large opening on the right.

Da Roof, Da Roof, Da Roof is on.........the house! : ) Good view of the windows that side our fireplace.

Our upstairs place!
