randomness..

These are in backward order of our day...I need to remember that when I download...Ahhhhhh, such is life. Daddy and Sophie hanging on the docks at the waterfront and listening to steel drums. Watching the geese and ducks.
Another Daddy/Daughter pic. I call this the "Michael Jackson" pose....; )I do really like it!

Miss Sophie hanging with friends Jennie and Dave's "Brenna". I can hear the conversation now. "Dude, where did you get that????" "I SOOOOO want one!!"

Earlier in the day we attempted lunch at "Cool Springs". Not a total success, but at least we tried! By the way, this is a rare photo of mom's new "bangs". The verdict is still out!

Post ponytail hair! She was getting ready to get into the bath. This cracks me up!

Earlier in the day (Saturday). We had the bright idea to let Sophie take her own cart to the store. Normally she tries to push ours, or screams like a banchee if we try to put her in!! We didn't realize she would actually load it with things...which she did!!! At least her taste was good! Bubbles and puzzles! The picture below is my "mommy freaks out too much" picture. I go off to realize that when I come back, daddy has started "wandering ahead". Our girl is so independant and can take off on a whim herself. I had to get the picture of our independant girl and our daydreaming daddy!

more easter and my true loves!

I love that my kid is the kinda kid that turns her back on chocolate and toys for a good book! Elmo teaches color in this one. As Sophie says, "Belbo". Some of her words sound like they should be a name of someone living in the shire in Lord of the Rings! an egg, a ball, an egg, a ball.....What was the easter bunny doing??? LOVE her little skinny legs! To be young again! hahaha
Sorry, but this simply couldn't be helped. I apologize! hahaha "Yeah, I'm a bunny...that's right folks."

and this.....even more tempting.

For those of you who know my husband, you know he has been through an amazing, and often challenging life. He is tough as nails. I thought I softened him a little when we met, but it wasn't until she came along that I saw his heart truly melt. He loves this girl and she loves him. PS....he has not gained weight, it is a recliner/laying back/weird head position...aka...hubby lost his chin, picture! hahahaha

Happy Easter with monkey!

Our egg dying experience..only 2 cups bit the dust via Sophie's hands. Yellow and blue. She MUST be a Mountaineer fan!!!!! Our carpet sure is now!!! Looking at mama with surprise when her favorite "monkey song" came on!
Starting her dancing!

Here's a video of the dancing monkey. Forgive mama's sing along. Jeesh, you'd think I'd learn not to sing WHILE I'm taping.
