A beautiful crochet job from Jennifer! Sophie's new favorite "pretty". Big rocks into pebbles, pebbles into sand, I think I have a million million rocks here in my hand!!!!

Sorry we've been gone so long...

My kid won't eat anything, well... until I went to Sam's club and bought these.Go figure. Turns out she is totally into mini sweet bell peppers. (behburs) Thank goodness there is a vegetable to feed the child now!

This is daddy sporting HIS latest purchase for our girl... He said he walked by it and couldn't help himself. She is wearing the whole ensemble below, on top of Christmas PJ's. Yeah, he's totally whipped!

This is Sophie's Great Grandma Jean. She passed away a couple of months before Sophie's birth. I'm beginning to think Sophie has a little Gma Jean in her. I can't put my finger on it, but I sure do know it when I see/hear it. One good example... Sophie has started to pretend to answer the phone. She picks it up and says, "hellllLOOOH". Her voice sounds like her Great Grandma when she does this.A self portrait my Grandma Jean painted when she was a younger woman.

We have pig tails....but we can't figure out how to get them even quite yet. A side effect of her surgery. The hair line is CRAZY in the back!

Well, It's been a while.

We've had our run with vaccines, illnesses as a result of vaccines, and the occasional "chicken poc" in response to the live chix pox vaccine (only 4 percent of kids do that....and of course, our kid is one of them).... No sooner does one of us start to feel better in this house, then the others start to get run down. Sophie has fought off more than any kiddo should have to. She is a champ though!!!! She's coming out the other side, with just a lingering yucky cough and runny nose. We now qualify that as normal at this point!
